Last year, the Hubble Space Telescope nearly fried its eye gathering enough off axis photons to reveal Pluto's two new and unsuspected moons, Nix and Hydra. Now ten images gathered by the adaptive optics of the giant ground-based Keck telescope in Hawaii have been integrated into a clearer view
As to Hydra, Nix's companion in the Plutonian suburbs, I hope they leave it off the star charts, lest dyslexic New England astrogators confound it with the eponymous rock in Boston Harbor, formerly the site of a gibbet for showing off freshly hanged pirates, quakers and such.
